Lemon Sesame Roasted Broccoli

Ingredients
1 head broccoli
Juice of 1 lemon
1tbsp extra virgin olive oil (or melted coconut oil or ghee)
3tbsp white sesame seeds
Optional: Pinch of cayenne pepper
Method

Pre-heat oven to 180 degrees celcius and line a baking tray with baking paper.

Chop broccoli into florets leaving the stalks long. Place florets into a mixing bowl and drizzle in lemon juice and olive oil. Mix broccoli into the juices so that all are covered. Pour over sesame seeds and mix again to cover.

Place broccoli onto the baking tray and evenly spead around so they form a single layer.

Bake for roughly 20 mins until the edges are golden brown/a little bit charred. Depending on your oven temperature, you may need a little more or less.
Delicious paired with some baked salmon, chicken breast, poached eggs, crusted sardines, sweet potato mash, used as the "chip" to your favourite dip. A very versatile side dish! Enjoy!
