Raw Dark Chocolate Hearts

Raw, Vegan, Gluten-free, Dairy-free



1/2 cup cacao butter, chopped or grated

1/2 cup raw cacao powder

1/4 cup coconut nectar or sugar

1/4 cup chopped almonds

1/4 cup chopped fresh strawberry pieces



  • Warm a saucepan, 1/4 full with water. Place chopped/grated cacao butter into a mixing bowl and sit on top of saucepan. Using a thermometer, monitor temperature & do not heat over 36-42 degrees to ensure it stays RAW. 

  • Place cacao powder & coconut nectar into the mixing bowl & whisk until evenly combined.

  • Prepare your silicone mold by placing a few almond & strawberry pieces into each heart (or whatever shape you have). Whisk chocolate mixture again & pour chocolate mixture into each mold.

  • Place silicone tray into the fridge over night & let chocolates set.
